Panel Meters & Gauges
Panel meters are instruments that display an input signal in an analog or digital form. Many panel meters also include alarm options as well as the ability to transfer data to a computer. They come in a wide variety of sizes, offering several mounting options and varying degrees of accuracy and resolution.

Panel meters can display speed, frequency, voltage, current, temperature, strokes per minute, feet per second, and more. Analog meters typically application specific and thus display one output. A digital device can be reconfigured to display a different value, like volts, amps, temperature or any other engineering unit.

To take and display measurements, panel meters take a sample of the voltage or current to create a visual representation of the measured value. Voltage measurements are read across the line, while current measurements are taken in series with the load.

Marsh Instruments Liquid-Filled Gauges are designed to perform in rugged applications and harsh environmental conditions - especially where pulsation and vibration are a problem. Liquid Filled Gauges offer a significant cushioning and dampening effect, reducing pointer flutter and internal gauge damage; also lubricating the internals, and reducing corrosion. All stainless steel Liquid Filled Gauges feature a ventable top fill plug for pressure relief and ease of venting after installation. Pressure ranges are available through 10,000 psi, with high pressure ranges offering a Helical Bourdon Tube for longer gauge life and increased durability. The hermetically sealed construction reduces the chance of leaks, and makes field filling an easy option. These Wide-Vue style analog panel meters have a black spade pointer for easy distant reading. They also have an optional behind-panel mounting bezel kit. These also have a shielding that makes the calibration unaffected by magnetic panel mounting. Also, each dial arc is calibrated to track the specific type of movement used.

Marsh Instruments Low Pressure Diaphragm Gauges are universally known for their dependable performance and accuracy. Incorporating a unique design feature, the diaphragm element in this gauge allows accurate low pressure readings in a variety of applications. Featuring a bronze diaphragm element, the gauge is capable of ASME Grade A- 1% accuracy for ranges above 30" of water. Ranges are available in vacuum and pressure in inches of water, ounces per square inch and millimeters of mercury.
